Rich Homie Quan Traffic Stop:  In late May, 2017, Rapper Rich Homie Quan‘s vehicle was stopped at a police checkpoint.  The police ended up searching the vehicle and found marijuana, ecstasy and what was believed to be a stolen handgun.  Quan and the other occupants of his vehicle were held overnight in the Jefferson County, Georgia jail awaiting charges to be filed.  Quan was on his way to a performance which ended up being cancelled.  Many people do not understand how to deal with the police who attempt to manipulate one into a confession.  Hopefully Quan and the others understood to immediately assert their constitutional rights: “I want a lawyer.  If I am not under arrest, please let me go.”
